Established in 1996, Time Point is an Irish software company that provides a comprehensive range of cloud-based Workforce Management & HR solutions. Time Point have successfully onboarded and support over 1,000 customers across a wide range of industries.
The Challenge
Time Point’s roadmap shifted towards cloud-first solutions.
Time Point’s desktop-based application was developed in the 1990’s by their in-house team. This product was subsequently enhanced and evolved to meet their client’s needs and as requirements changed. As their customer base grew and new technologies became available, Time Point’s roadmap shifted towards cloud-first solutions.
- On-Premise Installations: Every client needed their own local setup, which required local deployments, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Reactive Problem Solving: Without automated alerts, systems could not be monitored to identify and manage issues in advance of client’s feedback.
- Remote Access Needs: Customers increasingly expected to be able to access their data at any time and from anywhere.
- Internal Capacity: To ensure a speedy delivery of their new Cloud Solution Time Point needed to supplement their internal development with a highly skilled outsourcing partner.

The legacy application was redeveloped to run on Microsoft Azure’s Platform as a Service, making hosting, deployment, and troubleshooting far more straightforward.
- Proactive Monitoring & Alerts
Centralised monitoring was introduced so that potential issues could be identified —and often resolved—before clients were even aware of them.
- Scalable Infrastructure
Azure’s flexible environment allows Time Point to handle usage spikes, onboard new customers quickly, and grow to scale as required.
- Upskilling the Team
While Treaty focused on the initial cloud rebuild, Time Point’s own developers continued to support the legacy system. Step by step, Treaty provided training and support to the Time Point team so they could confidently take ownership of the new platform.
